Well that is what my Sassa (Sarah) has been today. All morning since 5 am, she had been throwing up off and on. Now brace yourself, I am going to pour out a whole lot of self pity. Well first Scott and his dad went up north yesterday to go elk hunting for the weekend. So that alone has me frazzled because I couldn't go with them. So last night I rented 2 chick flicks, bought me a Marie Callendar's Banana Cream pie and had a sad fest. Though sadly I got to bed before midnight. So then at 5 am the whole thing with Sarah started. At 10am I took all three children with me to Andrew's orthodontist appt. Amazingly Sarah slept through it as she sat in the front seat of the double stroller. So on our way home...you guessed it. Up it came. TWICE while traveling home in the van. So we get home I give her some wheat bread, make Andrew a PB & J and put all my children down for a nap, including mama. So here we are, no vomiting anymore. She has kept the bread I have given her down, and is acting more herself. So we shall see what tonight brings. I will probably attempt to finish cleaning my house, cleaning up my closet/scrap area and maybe get some scrapping done! Oh wouldn't that just be amazing since I haven't scrapped a LO since middle of last month. I will post my pictures of my LO's on Sunday or Monday as Scott took the camera with him so he could take pictures of the big elk he hopes to kill. Have a better day than me!

Okay so many of you know that I am an instructor for a great company called Coupon$ense. What I do is teach people about the service we provide and how to get the maximum savings from coupons. Well I went to Albertsons tonight (technically it would be Saturday night that I went as it is 1:42 Sunday Morning) and I got the following: 12 boxes of Life Cereal, 4 boxes of Captain Crunch cereal, 6 boxes of Quaker Breakfast on the GO bars, 21 boxes of Quaker Instant Oatmeal a variety of kinds, 4 boxes of Jolly Time Healthy Popcorn, 1 OxiClean detergent Ball, 15 cans of Campbell's Cream of Chicken Soup, 5 cans of Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup, 2 gallons of milk, and 8 Aunt Jemima Syrups. Okay so I haven't really posted in like 2 weeks. Sad I know. I have been a bit busy doing who knows what but getting something accomplished. Makes sense huh. Well considering I am writing this at 12:28 am it should. Let's see...what's new...well

Andrew is having some major orthodontia work done on his poor little mouth. Right now he has a palate spreader that is doing amazing work for only the two weeks it has been functioning. We had him tested to get him into preschool and were told he has the intellect of a 6 yr old, which is good I would think. He now has to be evaluated by the speech pathologist to see where he fits in preschool wise.

Sarah is our little drama queen as of late. Everything sets her off and she doesn't listen at all! AHHH! She is so darn cute and she knows how to work it. When she isn't being dramatic she is such a cute and lovable girl. She is getting so verbose and is just really smart. We catch her singing her ABC's and counting to ten. It's so cute to hear her say seben.

As for Ryan, he is now 4 months old and I believe weighs in at 17 or 18lbs. Yeah I know he is a big boy. He also is pretty long as well. I need to take more pictures of him and get them posted on here so you can see my happy beautiful boy! He smiles so much and now giggles. He is working on rolling over and has yet to be successful, oh well. He is wearing socks on his hands to keep him from scratching his poor head to shreads.

Scott is about to take on a big job at work. He will be supervising the construction of some apartments. He is a bit nervous about it, but he will do great as usual. His boss has great faith in him as do I. Love you babe!

As for me, not much new here. I am still scrapping away and card making. That has been my thing lately. For some reason I can't get enough. I go walking with my MIL and my friend Amber every weekday morning at 5:30am. We walk 2 miles and I am usually back in time to see my kids awake already! It kills me, why can't they just sleep in sometimes?? So goes life.

I hope you are all enjoying life, as I am. I am so blessed with such a great and wonderful husband and amazing children. The Lord has blessed me in countless ways. Take care!

Okay so I recently joined a card club and I am totally excited about it. This month's theme is to use chipboard. So for my card I took my Xyron 900 and put adhesive on the back of my patterned paper and then stuck it to the chipboard. I then proceeded to use my Sizzix Sidekick and the brush script font to cut out the number 4. Here is the end result. Thanks for looking!

Well I was making brownies this afternoon for our Family Home Evening treat, and I let Andrew lick the beater. These are the pictures that Scott got while Andrew was enjoying this special treat. My Baby Boy!

Well I just wanted to update you all on our baby Ryan. He is getting sooo Big!! He weighed in at 13 lbs 2 oz on Tuesday July 25th. I am sure he is more now the big fattie! Not only is he in the 75% of his weight but he is in the 75th to 90% in height. Not that it says much for a 2 and a half month old baby, but we think it's exciting. Here is a recent photo of him. Oh and for those of you who care, I bought both color of sandals for a whopping $23 for both pairs! Gotta love a good deal.

Well I guess it's been a bit busy here with three children and one big kid adult. I am still adjusting and getting used to all the extra work, but I am getting there. I am getting back to my scrapping, slowly though. This is a LO I finished yesterday and I am not too pleased with it, but it'll do. Here is a photo of the fam just hangin out in Sarah's room. Crazy Busy!

Okay so I haven't blogged in over a week. Well I have been extremely tired and busy but for such great reasons. My kids. I love them! All of them. Andrew and Sarah have been so good in adjusting to Ryan and they kiss him almost as much as I do! Andrew is so helpful and is doing a great job with helping with Sarah too. Sarah is good with Ryan and hasn't done any of the feared hitting or major tantrums that I thought she would. We are moving her into a big girl bed this week and we will see how that goes. I get all teary just thinking how fast they grow up. I came home with Ryan just to see Sarah as this huge big girl and not my baby anymore. I am weepy as we speak! I have such an amazing family. Scott is so good to me and I love that he continues to love me at such a crazy time for me. I will hopefully get back to my scrapping ways and get some posted this weekend. Well this morning I got to do some scrapping as Scott and Andrew shot each other with the nerf guns they got for Easter. Sarah,meanwhile, was sitting in front of the TV watching Dora. She loves "Doh Doh". This is the LO I got done for my weekly challenge at Keepsake Trends. Later this morning we went to Pratt's Pet and Feed store to look at all the animals. It was fun to take the kids to see all the chicks, birds, ducklings and turtles. There are a ton of animals there and the kids loved it. Then after that we went to Cerreta's Candy Factory. We were hoping to go on a tour there but they do that on the weekdays so we will have to go back. We just had an enjoyable day with our kids. Hope all is well with you all! I think it has been ages since I got a layout done! Here is one I did for my Keepsake Trends weekly challenge. This was fun and pretty basic. I love how it turned out. Now if I could only get my camera to take a decent picture! Yipes! I hope to have quite a few LO's done this week. I don't know well I will be able to do that as my feet and ankles are so swollen I can't sit down for more than 20 min at a time. I will do my best.

Today I went to the dr. and he basically said I have another week and they will try to get me induced. I guess now they put you on a waiting list rather than schedule your induction. I am okay with that, the only thing I am worried about is how big this boy is going to be. Oh well, we will just have to see.

Here is a shout out to my youngest sister who had her second baby yesterday! Their baby girl weighed in at a whopping 8 lbs. 11 oz. They named her Violet Calista Sproul. Congratulations Arica! Great job!

A ton of things going on

Well I have fell off the blogging thing for a while. There are many reasons. First, I have been trying to find ways to get this baby out as soon as possible. That has been a challenge. Then on Tuesday Scott's Grandpa died. It was to be expected but still a bit sad and hard on the family.

We took Andrew in for his appt with his surgeon. The dr. would like to do his nose surgery this year. Basically the sooner the better. So I think we will do that as soon as we can. It will be another trying experience as it will change Andrew's apperance again. We just love Andrew the way he is and it will be hard gettin used to the change. We keep telling ourselves that we have to do this for him. It won't be us having to deal with other people's comments about his appearance. So we are strong for Andrew. Then he needs to go to the orthodontist this year so we can start planning for any reconstruction they will have to do on his upper teeth and hope that the bone grew across so they won't have to do the bone graph later.

Okay so that fills up my days along with trying to get my house clean as much as possible so when people come to visit, I am not embarrassed by the lack of organization or tidiness. I will try to post more interesting things later today or tomorrow. We will see what happens. Have a great day!

This is what we acquired on Saturday evening. We knew we were going to have to get a bigger vehicle than our beloved Grand Marquis and when we saw this one we knew we couldn't let it go. It has every option you could think of. All leather, 2nd row captains chairs, 2 lcd flip down screens, vcr/dvd, cd player in front as well as the back, 3rd row bench seat will lay flat for a bed. So yeah.

Okay so I have to say that I am a huge fan of the Phoenix Suns and have been since I moved to AZ. Last night's game was just reaffirmation of what this team is. Such craziness and heart pounding moments in that game! It will be great to watch them play game 7 on Saturday. From the comforts of my in laws home of course, but wow! Bring it on!

Molly Lichlyter Marks

I am not sure if any of you know this person or her family but I do, and I am forwarding this to this site in order to help them. I hope this is appropriate, if nothing the prayers will help. Molly Lichlyter Marks is a friend of mine and her sister Abby Kobel is as well, so this hits me a little hard.

I'm not sure if you know the Lichlyter family - Molly's dad, Bruce, was the former bishop of the Moon Valley Ward - Molly and her family live in Peoria - Zach recently returned from a mission in Mexico - Molly's other brother is married to Danielle Parks. Her sister Abby Kobel used to be in the Peoria Ward they now live in Surprise. I'm just passing this on to try and help their family.

Dear Friends and Family:

As many of you know, our sweet Molly was first diagnosed with liver cancer six years ago when she was a senior in high school. She very bravely handled her first surgery in March of 2000, to remove 85% of her liver. Hopes were high that the surgery would remove all existing cancer and that she would recover without the need of any further treatments. Great things were in store for her. Molly met and married the love of her life - Elliot, a devoted and supportive husband and best friend. Molly and Elliot were then blessed with their miracle baby, a beautiful daughter, Jaycie.

Unfortunately, in the summer of 2004, her cancer returned - again in her liver. The same surgery was performed, and once again great hopes flourished that this would be the end of this battle in her life. However, in February of this year, we were all crushed to learn that not only has the cancer returned, but that the tumors are inoperable, due to size and location. Molly's only hope, at this point, is a liver transplant, which needs to be performed as soon as possible given the aggressive rate at which her cancer is growing. Surgery is scheduled for May 24th. This is where we come to you with a plea for help and prayer.

From a medical standpoint, Molly is prepared for the surgery. All necessary tests have been performed on her and her younger brother, Zach, who has graciously volunteered to be her donor. Molly's insurance company finally consented coverage for her after an extensive appeal process. However, they have declined coverage for Zach. Today we were advised that Zach's insurance has also denied him coverage as a donor. This news added devastation to already existing devastation. Molly's immediate family and close friends are doing all they can to quickly gather the necessary funds, which must be paid prior to surgery, but we have a large goal to reach. The estimated cost is approximately $50,000 for Zach. Not only is the surgery a great expense, but Molly will initially be on 18 medications to support her acclimation to her new liver, and then lifelong anti-rejection medications.

With humble hearts, we reach out to you and ask for your help. An account has been set up in the name of Molly Marks at Bank of America. The account number is 0043-7991- 6588. Truly, we are sincere when we say no gift is too small. We know that the small, yet generous, gift of MANY is all it will take to help Molly. Time is of the essence. These are two layouts I did this morning. I wanted to start my day out by scrapping because later in the day my legs and feet can't take the added swelling while sitting down. So here they are. After lunch I put my kids down for a nap and I set my timer for an hour. I cleaned my kitchen, did a load of laundry, swept and mopped my kitchen and dining floor, cleaned my oven and microwave. Amazing what you can do in an hour. So that is my goal. To clean my house for an hour a day and hopefully it will get to the point that I no longer need an hour. (We can only pray) Hope you all are having a great day!

Well not really just today. I hope to do nothing but maybe clean up my house, wait for the mail to get here and then do some scrapping while the kids are down for their nap. I hope that actually works. More than likely I will get the pictures I ordered tomorrow and won't be able to do anything with them until tomorrow night and I am sooooo looking forward to it. Well I have officially hung up my goals for the Rhonna Farrer 21 day challenge. I know call me a quitter. Here is the thing, I was stressing way too much over my goal and stuff and it was taking me away from my family. I know that sounds wierd, but it's true. So, one less thing to stress over. Well I took up Rhonna Farrer's 21 day challenge. For 21 days I will make a new recipe for dinner and in my journal I will journal an entry about how my family, more specifically Scott, liked it. This is a recipe box that I altered for this challenge. I will also be entering my thoughts into a small tag journal that I will alter and post later with my entry. Well things here are crazy as usual. I have been working on some LOs for a design team contest and hope to be finished by the deadline. I need to go get one thing to alter, but as things are tight, I might just have to settle for something else. I know that made no sense to you, but I guess it's me that matters in this case. Well let's see it has been an eventful weekend to be sure. Saturday is the most interesting so I will tell you about that. Well to begin with it rained all day. What a wonderful blessing that was for us! Around 10am I went to the baptisms of some children in our primary, following that I went to a baby shower for a lady in our ward. On my way from the baby shower, I thought to myself, I can't have a baby today. Weird huh. Anywho, I go home, clean house, take a nap and then call my friend Erin to arrange our plans for the night. So later on we take the kids to McDonald's. Well I pick up Erin and we go watch the movie Annapolis. Good flick by the way. Afterward I go to the bathroom and think I am leaking amniotic fluid. So I call the on call dr and they tell me to go to the hospital. Well we go straight there and they admit me and run some tests. It's about 11:30 pm and Erin, wonderful Erin, stayed with me. Ken and Scott came and gave me a priesthood blessing and then Ken took Erin home. Well the tests came back positive and so they did an ultrasound to see how much fluid I had. I had 18 out of 20 (whatever that means, it was good apparently) so being 2 of 3 of the tests positive, they had to keep me overnight. Fun. So around 1:30 am they move me to my own room and Scott went home to get some sleep. Since there is only so much basic cable you can watch, I went to bed at 3am, then at 4 they came in to give me a shot so if in case I had to deliver the baby, the lungs would mature, I then go back to sleep until 6:30. Well around 11:30 the on call dr comes and they re run the test from the night before. One came back negative and so we were just waiting on the second test. Well at 3pm they came back with my release forms as the other was negative and I could go home. So eventful huh!

Hopefully I will get some rest and get back to my normal life this week.

Well Scott and I have been getting over the flu. It just hit us one day and it was awful. Felt like I had been beaten up and had bruises all over my body. Anywho, my parents came to visit and that was sooo nice! I miss them very much and they were able to have good quality time with the grand kids. I haven't scrapped in almost a week and hopefully today will get me out of my rut. I hope to be able to post something later on this afternoon. Take care and have a wonderful day!

Well I made this Layout for my weekly challenge at KT. These pictures were taken at our ward campout last year in June. If you can read the journaling it explains where the horned toad came from. Well it's driving me nutso! I hope to get some scrapping done today. I finished this altered tin that we had for the weekly challenge at KT this morning. So now that it is done, I can hopefully focus on doing some scrapping this weekend. Scott and I went to see the sequel to God's Army last night. Now, if you plan on going, don't. I would recommend that you wait until one of your friends purchase it and then borrow it from them. What an emotional rollercoaster and frankly, I just didn't like it. The acting was great, just the scenarios were a little much for me. Just my two cents. I know Richard Dutcher wanted this to be great, and it could have been had he cut a few things out. On Keepsake Trends our weekly challenge was to make a card with 3 folds in it. Now in light that it is Valentine's Day tomorrow I made this card for the love of my life. The first photo is the front of the card. The second is when you lift the first flap open and the third is of the card completely open. So the card is supposed to say: Love is...Me and You. Hope he gets that. Don't tell! I think it turned out pretty nice.

I haven't blogged in a week, and I certainly haven't scrapped in 2 weeks!! I had been busy with Andrew's birthday party that was last week and had a few meetings since then. Sadly my Seahawks did not win the Superbowl, and I will not go into why they did not because it would be way too long. Since I blogged, scrapped or much of anything! Well I did go to the temple last night which was really good. I am working on Andrew's birthday party this Saturday, but as it comes closer I am worried my children won't be healthy. Well we will see. So I need to go order the cake, get a few streamers, party bags and I think we will be good to go. Then I need to finish painting my house and clean it. Yick the worst part. Hopefully tonight, I will get to do some scrapping either before or after the must watch show LOST. I am off to Sam's Club to order the cake! Ciao!

Well that's what we are! Andrew is sick with a cold, Sarah is sick with a really bad cold, cough and nasty nose. I am sick with an achy flu and Scott is on the verge of getting sick. How fun are we!! Well this morning while I had some blessed free time I finished this LO with Andrew and his friend Nicholas. It was another challenge on J4K. It's a good thing I found that place or I would never get any scrapping done!

Well I did some scrapping this morning while my kids were sick. Nice huh. The kids being sick isn't nice at all. Poor Sarah is just coughing really bad and Andrew is just plain grouchy. Just kidding!! Like I have a free day that I can sit down and really ask myself that! Well last night was really fun. Scott and I ate at the Matador in downtown Phoenix. It was crazy busy and we ended up waiting an hour even before we got seated! Once we were seated we placed our order and it came within 10 min! So it was a good experience and the food was fabulous as usual! The suns game was really fun. The seats could have been better but we had a good time anyway. We didn't get home until midnight, but all in all a great date with my hubby. Today I hope to get to Old Navy and Motherhood to buy and exchange some things. Then I should be able to scrap today. I just need a little inspiration. We will see what I can find. I will keep you posted!

Alright, so 3 LO's was a bit ambitious as Tammi pointed out to me, but I did finish this one that I love! So now I am off to drop my kids off at Aunt Jeanine's and then I am coming back home to spot clean my carpet. Then to Old Navy to exchange shirts for Sarah and then pick the kids up and come home. Lunch, nap and some scrapping. Then tonight I am so excited, I get to go on a date!!!! WOOO HOOOO! Scott and I are going out to dinner, then we are going to the Suns/Lakers game! Sooooo dang excited about that. So I will keep you posted about how things go.

Things to do today

Well first of all I think I am going to clean up my house. You know dishes, laundry and vacuuming. Then I think I am going to take the kids to the mall for some much needed clothes shopping. They both are getting so big, it is insane! I am sure I will fit in a maternity top or two in there. Then it will be home for lunch and nap for the kids. I want to scrap today and get alot done. My goal is for 3 LO's today. This is one I finished yesterday and it was my first scan and stitch, so forgive the bad job. Hope you all have a great day!

What a difference a day makes!!

I have to tell you that yesterday was such a great day! That morning I made a simple LO with Andrew which I still have to put journaling on, but that is all the scrapping I did. After posting my blog for the day I took my kids to the mall. The reason I did this was, there was a nice little cold bite to the wind and rather than take them to the park as planned, I took them to the play area at the mall. They both had such a great time! We came home, had lunch and they took their naps. I cleaned my house, I did the dishes and folded laundry. I made a big dinner for my in laws and we had roasted chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, veggies and the works! Then we watched the 2nd half of the season premier of 24. Had Family Home Evening in between the 2 hrs of the show and was such a difference. Rather than focus completely on my scrapping and being on the computer I centered my day around my family and had such a turn around. My priorities were a bit whacked. So, I will continue to scrap, but not make it an obsession. By this I mean, I won't cut down my scrapping time, just the time I scrap. Did that make sense? It's funny, now I have all these ideas for new LO's just flooding my brain. CRAZY! Thanks for sharing that with me! Have a great day!

ReEvaluating

Well this is probably going to be a long one. This last weekend I have been reevaluating why I scrap. I was in the Last Scrapper Standing Contest on the J4K website. It was round two and it was really tough for me. When I finished, I felt that I was in pretty good shape in going to the next round. Well needless to say I didn't. Now I am not going to lie and say I wasn't hurt. In fact I felt like a failure. I have worked so hard in becoming a "great" scrapper that I felt like I had done it for nothing. Then I took a deep breath and sat down and did some thinking. Yes I know shocking! Well this is what I came up with. The LSSC is based on other people's opinions. They are not experts, they are just people who vote for what they like. Another thing. Why do I scrap? Do I do it to get praise from others or am I doing this to preserve my memories for my family. I have to admit I was leaning to the former on this one. I think I got so caught up in contests and Design Teams and stuff like that, that I just lost focus on why I really do this. So with that in mind for the future, I think I will take it less to heart on what other people think, as my friend once told me "refuse to be offended.", and more of how my family will enjoy looking at the memories I preserved for them, with them in mind.

Well I have been pretty busy as of late. At the last minute, my lovely friend Deanna, convinced me to enter the Scrapworks Design Team Call. The submissions had to be in by Jan. 13th (tomorrow). Well needless to say I started this morning and mailed them at noon. I express mailed them so they would be there tomorrow guaranteed. So we will see what happens. Here is the paper project that I entered. The metal tag says dream and the word next to it says big. So it says dream big, just thought I would clear that up.

Well today has been a challenging day. A good one though. My little Sarah is sick and so we are home today trying to get her better. Lots of sleep for this little one. Well as I posted yesterday we found out we were having a boy on Wednesday. As we were leaving to go to the ultrasound, Andrew said, "Tell them I want a brother." How funny is that. Like they can control what we get!! LOL. Then we called him to tell him that he was getting a brother and his response was, "Dad I got sugar on my Rice Krispies!" So we go and pick the kids up from grandma and granpa's and Andrew then promptly asked, "Mom? Where's the brother?" How funny is that!! I just love my son and how fun and enjoyable he is!!

We're having a boy!

Well some of you may not know that we are expecting our third child in June. Scott and I went in for our ultrasound yesterday and it was definitely a boy. I would put the photo on to see the anatomical proof, but that might not go over very well. Anyway we are very excited and are looking forward to this addition! Now just to pick a name. That has been really tough for us for some reason. Suggestions are welcome!

Well it has been a long time since I actually wrote anything! How bad am I! Well Thanksgiving was great, and Christmas was great too!! I didn't get much scrapping done but I plan on it this coming year. I would like to get 100 pages scrapped and apply for some design team openings. We will see as I will be having a baby come June. Here is a picture of Andrew opening presents with his 2 cousins Regan and McKinley.

Well I actually got most of the stuff done on my previous post. I finished the turkeys a day later. All I have left is to sand the back, stain the back and spray finish them. I will take a picture of the final product and post it today hopefully. Today will be yet another busy day. I have to go drop off the turkeys, go shopping for food for the weekend, clean my house and all that good stuff. We have a party to go to tonight and right after that I am picking up my sister at the airport around 10pm. So it will be another late nighter for me. Well I'd better get going so I can get things accomplished!

Well today I thought I would just post about how my day is going to go. First I need to go to Target to exchange a shirt and then to JoAnn to get some scrapbooking stuff with my gift card. Then on to my lss for some brads and some cardstock. After that we will meet my friend Dana for lunch at Peter Piper. We will come home and I will put the kids down for their naps and then I will get to work on cleaning my house. I will set my timer at an hr and get as much done as I can. When the timer goes off it will be time to tole paint!! Finish the turkeys I started for my Visiting Teaching ladies. I will post a picture of them tomorrow. After those are done, more than likely the kids will get up before I finish but that's okay. So far that is what I have. Wish me luck that I might get it done! Have a great day!

We're Back!!

Well we are back from our wonderful trip to California. San Diego was great, as was Anaheim, or rather Disneyland! I will post pictures as soon as I am able, but we are no in the process of putting our house back together. The remodeling is complete. We basically have a new house on the inside. I will post photos of that as well later. Just wanted to check in and let you know we are back. Hopefully the photos will be up later on in the week!

Wake up
Get the kids breakfast.
Get online and check my email.
Call Scott at least once a day.
Get the mail.
Try to get some scrapping done and maybe squeeze in a workout while the kids are napping.

In a Year from Now...

In a year from now I would like to think that I have accomplished many things. I would like to have another child added to our family, I would like to have saved more money, I would like to be more charitable and service oriented. I would like to have my scrapbooks up to date. There are a great many things I would like to have done a year from now, but I think the most important one is that I will love more. We shall see.

Well we got our AC fixed and I got to go to the Creating Keepsakes scrapbook convention this weekend. I met some great ladies there Lisa and Tammi and Dece that all belong to just4keeps.com forum and of course Shanna and Deanna!! I had a great time and did a ton of shopping and learned a lot! I am done with my scrap shopping until next year. Let's see if I hold to that.

Well haven't been on for a while. I guess I have been too busy scrapping and getting things done. We will be super busy in the coming weeks as we are going to remodel our kitchen and living room. Here is my most recent layout. Finished today it was for a challenge on Just4keeps.com that challenged us to make a layout about what we are grateful for. It was to make us reflect on the last weeks events with the disaster hurricane Katrina and all the pain and suffering going on there.
